How much money is in conservative media, anyway?

Democrats are pitching donors on major investments. Here’s how much cash the Right is bringing in.

How much money is in conservative media, anyway?

Earlier this week, the New York Times detailed various efforts among Democratic operatives, advisors, and entrepreneurs to pitch major donors on funding partisan media projects focused on content creators and cultural programming. Since many Democrats love to operate from a scarcity mindset, I saw more than a few groans online from staffers arguing, “But why don’t people fund X, Y, or Z  instead?!” I assume those critics have little idea how much money is flowing to conservative media, so I created a chart with rough revenue estimates for just a few major, right-leaning media brands:
